Summary of Licensure for CPMS in this state

CPMs are awaiting implementation of Bill 3401 Licensed Certified Professional Midwife Practice Act which was signed into law in 2021. When enacted, CPMs will be licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations and supervised by the Illinois Midwifery Board.
